VS-SERIES SINGLE SHAFT SHREDDER MACHINE

  • Machine: VS-Series Industrial Single Shaft Plastic Recycling Shredder Machine.
  • Material: Plastic bottles, plastic bags, plastic films, die material, big block material,PE/PVC thick wall pipes, jumbo bags, fish net,plastic lumps, plastic container, plastic chair , plastic pallet.
  • Process: Material is fed into the machine by a conveyor belt or manual loading, and an internal hydraulic pusher automatically regulates the feed rate into the crushing zone based on the main motor's load. The material is powerfully shredded between the rotor's rotating blades and the frame's fixed blades, then discharged through the screen mesh located beneath the rotor. Oversized material remains in the chamber for further shredding. Properly sized shredded material is discharged via a belt conveyor and can be routed to a subsequent washing or pelletizing line.
  • Capacity: Input capacity ranges from 300 to 2,000 kg/h, yielding plastic fragments of irregular shapes and sizes.

Suggest the inclined belt conveyor enables automatic continuous feeding to save labor. For small batches, manual feeding directly into the hopper is also supported, flexible for various production demands.

Semi-Auto Metal Detector

Semi-Auto Metal Detector

Optional metal detector is installed on the feeding conveyor. It will stop the belt and trigger an alarm once metal is detected. The machine resumes operation only after workers remove the metal. Detection sensitivity: ≥8mm for ferrous metal, ≥10mm for non-ferrous metal.

We provide optional motors including WEG, Siemens and famous domestic brands. Customized for heavy shredding work with high torque and built-in overload protection, stable and durable for domestic and overseas projects.

Bearing

We adopt original imported NSK bearings from Japan as standard, and SKF bearings are optional for customers. Heavy-load design with good dust proof sealing, stable operation and long service life for continuous shredding work.

Rotor

The machine's rotor is forged from high-quality 40Cr alloy steel and undergoes a comprehensive heat treatment process, balancing high hardness with superior toughness to withstand long-term, high-intensity operation.

Screen Mesh

Screen Mesh

This screen is made of 10mm thick carbon steel with 60mm holes for smooth material passing. It is easy to disassemble and replace, convenient for regular blade maintenance. Custom screen sizes are available upon request.

Rotor Blades

Rotor Blades

The movable blades are made of D-2 alloy steel, bolt-mounted on the rotor shaft for quick replacement. Each blade features four usable cutting edges, which can be rotated and reused four times after wear to cut costs.

Fixed Blades

The stationary knives are made of US standard D2 steel with hardness HRC 58-59, outperforming SKD-II. DC-53 material is also available as an alternative option. The blades are fixed by screw which is easy to replace.

The shredding chamber features an extra-large feeding opening for bulky plastic bottles and containers. Built-in anti-spatter baffle inside the chamber prevents materials from splashing out during shredding, ensuring safe and clean operation.

Hydraulic Control

The screen bracket is equipped with a hydraulic lifting system, powered by the central hydraulic power unit (HPU). This system enables the entire screen support structure to be hydraulically raised and lowered, providing quick and unrestricted access for the maintenance.

Electrical Control Panel

Electrical Control Panel

The electric control box adopts Siemens PLC, Schneider contactors & buttons, and ABB frequency converter. It features an automatic overload protection system: once high motor load current is detected, the main motor will stop and reverse automatically to clear jammed materials.
