Processing Workflow
The PET Recycling Line follows a meticulously designed eight-stage process to convert raw waste into uniform flakes:
Pre-Sorting and Feeding
Mixed PET waste is manually or mechanically pre-sorted to remove large non-PET items. Conveyors transport materials into the system while magnetic separators extract ferrous metals.
Label and Cap Removal
A friction washer rotates bottles at high speed, stripping labels and ejecting caps through centrifugal force. A cyclone separator collects lightweight debris for disposal.
Coarse Crushing
A heavy-duty crusher shreds bottles into 10–20 mm fragments, reducing volume for efficient downstream processing.
Hot Washing
Flakes undergo a multi-tank hot alkaline wash (70–90°C) to dissolve adhesives, oils, and organic residues. Floating-sinking tanks separate PET fragments from denser materials like PVC.
Fine Grinding
A secondary granulator refines flakes to 3–8 mm, optimizing surface area for deep cleaning.
Rinsing and Drying
High-pressure rinse units remove residual chemicals. A centrifugal dryer reduces moisture to <5%, followed by a thermal drying system for precision moisture control (<1%).
Optical Sorting
Near-infrared (NIR) sorters identify and eject remaining impurities based on material composition. Color sorters classify flakes by hue for applications requiring specific aesthetics.
Packaging
Cleaned flakes are pneumatically conveyed to silos and automatically bagged or bulk-packed for storage or transport.

Function: Opening the plastic bottle bales and scatter the bottles
Trommel Machine
Function: Loosen the bottles, remove the sand or stone from bottles, feeding out bottles constantly
